Does “Format clear” mean I can safely pay this address?
No. It only means this row passed the implemented text checks. It does not establish ownership, token acceptance, recipient legitimacy, account restrictions, balances or transaction success. Confirm the recipient and Ethereum mainnet support through a trusted channel. There is no transaction signing here.
Why does the subtotal include repeated addresses?
A repeated recipient may be intentional. The checker flags every repeated address but never merges or deletes it. The subtotal includes all rows without errors, including rows marked Review, and excludes every row with an error. Fees are not included. Resolve the warnings before using any amounts elsewhere.
What CSV format is supported?
Use a comma-separated UTF-8 file with address and amount columns. Optional columns are label and network, in any order. Use plain positive decimal amounts, a dot decimal separator, and no more than six decimal places. Quote fields containing commas or newlines. Unknown columns are rejected. Recognized network labels are ethereum, ethereum mainnet, eth, erc20 and ethereum erc20; these declarations are not independently verified.
Are my addresses uploaded or stored?
The checker processes your CSV locally. It has no wallet connector or browser persistence for your data. Hosted pages send fixed anonymous aggregate counts unless disabled or blocked by GPC/Do Not Track. No input, file data, referrer, wallet address or visitor ID is included. Disabling saves only an off preference on this site. Offline downloads send no measurement. Measurement details. Normal hosting access logs may still exist when you load this website. Download the self-contained offline version to run it without an internet connection. Anyone you share a report with can read the included addresses, labels and amounts.
Why only USDT on Ethereum?
Different tokens and networks have different rules. This version has one explicit scope: USDT with six decimals on Ethereum mainnet. It does not detect a token contract or a destination network from an address. See Tether’s supported protocols and the EIP-55 checksum specification.
Can I audit or use the code offline?
Yes. Download the self-contained offline HTML or the source with tests and license notices. This is a small format utility, not audited payment software. Exported CSV prefixes formula-like values with an apostrophe to reduce spreadsheet formula execution; the JSON report retains original values.
